GRADUATE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT OR DRAFTSPERSON

Can you design dirt as well as you ride it?

Location: Our preference is that this position works from our office in Margaret River, Western Australia. We may consider a remote or hybrid arrangement for the right person.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

The Position:

  • Designing and drafting to support design delivery for conceptual design, detailed design, and construction documentation;

  • Creating 2D and 3D design models and drawings;

  • Attending design meetings and contributing with ideas, suggestions, and insights to improve project outcomes;

  • There is the opportunity for the right candidate to manage the delivery of conceptual design and documentation, including concept plans and design reports;

  • There is the opportunity for the right candidate to manage the delivery of construction-level documentation, including plan drawings, detail drawings, and written specifications in line with assigned project deliverables;

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, software advancements, etc..

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Landscape Architecture, Diploma of Engineering, or similar would be ideal but is not mandatory;

  • A minimum of 3 years of drafting experience;

  • Previous pump track, skate park, or industry-related experience would be ideal but not mandatory;

  • Competency in Vectorworks or similar CAD program;

  • Competency in 3D modelling/rendering software like Twinmotion or similar;

  • Competency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word);

  • A passion for mountain biking, BMX, or bikes.

SITE SUPERVISOR - PUMP TRACKS

Are you a boss on and off the track?

Location: This Supervisor will lead and supervise pump track projects throughout Australia

 

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

​

The Position:

This Site Supervisor will lead one of our pump track construction teams, but the position may involve trails projects in the future. This Supervisor will need to have experience supervising and/or working on pump track construction projects. 

 

The Site Supervisor is required to supervise daily operations on their pump track construction site, including scheduling of works, employee direction and supervision, OH&S and safe work practices, while ensuring the achievement of agreed construction outcomes. The Supervisor is also a critical point of contact for the client and is required to deal with the client in a professional and effective way. This position requires a lot of travel. You will need to be flexible to base in different locations for periods of time (approximately 2-3 months per location). You will get to see, work, and ride your bike in some of the best locations throughout Australia – and potentially the world!

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience supervising civil construction sites;

  • Experience in the supervision of employees to deliver complex projects with a large number of stakeholders in challenging environments;

  • Experience supervising and/or working on pump track construction projects;

  • Experienced mountain bike trail and/or pump track user and you know how important levels, shapes, and lines are when it comes to building and riding trails and pump tracks, creating flow trail, or bombing a jump line.

MACHINE OPERATOR

Can you throw down in the excavator and on the trails?

  • Safety Bay and Joondalup, Perth, Western Australia (pump track projects);

  • Wollombi and Olympic Park, New South Wales (pump track projects);

  • Echuca, Wahgunyah, and Port Phillip, Victoria (pump track projects);

  • Omeo, Victoria (trail project).

Employment Type: Permanent and Casual positions available

​

The Position: 

In this position you’ll operate machinery as part of a team to build high-quality mountain bike pump tracks and trails. You will also undertake labouring duties. 

​

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as an excavator operator on high-quality pump tracks or trails;

  • Top notch excavator skills; you’re safe, you’re quick, you can follow plans, and you are great in a team;

  • Experienced mountain bike trail and/or pump track user and you know how important levels, shapes, and lines are when it comes to building and riding trails and pump tracks, creating flow trail, or bombing a jump line;

  • Experience operating a skid steer and other civil construction machinery would be an advantage;

  • A trade background is preferred but is not mandatory;

  • You get extra bonus points if you have experience with asphalt works;

  • Must be physically fit, strong, and happy to travel and work outdoors.

TRAIL BUILDER

Can you slap shapes as well as you slap turns?

  • Omeo, Victoria

 

Employment Type: Casual but with full-time hours available

 

The Position: 

This is a skilled labouring position. You will be working with your hands as part of a team to build high-quality mountain bike trails. 

 

The progression of this position is to Operator. Therefore, this position may operate machinery from time to time to train, develop, and gain sufficient competency for the Operator position.

​

Requirements:

  • Experience in trail building;

  • Experienced mountain bike trail and/or pump track user and you know how important levels, shapes, and lines are when it comes to building and riding trails and pump tracks, creating flow trail, or bombing a jump line;

  • A trade background is preferred but is not mandatory;

  • Must be physically fit, strong, and happy to travel and work outdoors.
